>>11759308You need to be in places and around decent people. If you hang out with bros looking to score at bars then all you'll find is bar skanks. I met my wife when I was at Uni and working part time at a local shop, we got talking over time as I was friendly but not creepy. There's a lot of women at church who are nice but lots of people aren't religious.
> liked but it never went anywhere because I either fumbled and pussied out by getting in my own head or misjudged the person initially. You're building it up too much. You're actually doing what the fat assed Indian guy above is doing - you're treating every women who is friendly with you as a potential target, someone to get what you want out of. It's just that they're targeting sex and you're targeting companionship. It's the targeting that's the problem. Women are people too and I'm sure if a woman started targeting you for your money immediately after meeting them then you'd be pretty pissed at them.
Talk to women like you'd talk to your friends and things will naturally develop or they won't and you'll just have a new friend. Basically, to have a successful relationship you've first got to have a successful friendship.
Like when people say on here that they hide wrestling from their girlfriends, that shit is just weird. I told my wife about my wrestling autism after a few weeks of dating and she laughed and said it was dumb and I laughed and said yeah it was but no more dumb than still liking horses in your twenties which she was into and she laughed and we bantered about our sad little hobbies. Because that's what I'd do with a male friend. Just be yourself, don't treat women any differently from a new guy you've met and you'll find your life easier.
