It's time for true AEW fans to admit that it has lost its way

I want you all to try and cast your minds back to the very beginning of AEW. Do you remember the things that were being floated?
>More sports based presentation
>New stars, not the same old shit
>No ex-WWE crap taking up TV time from new stars
>Diverse and interesting cast of men and the best women wrestling in the world
>No running things into the ground, small amount of content produced rather than 16 hours a week like WWE
> Better healthcare and benefits for wrestlers, potentially removing the independent contractor crap

AEW might be good or bad, depending on whatever your opinion is, and that's fine and not the point. The point is that the original idea that Tony pitched and started out with has changed so drastically now that I feel it's similar to TNA in execution. They're just won't be their own thing, they're desperately comparing themselves to WWE. Is 50 year old Edge really a necessary signing ? Another WWE release to take up TV time from the new stars we were promised? Do we really need Ziggler, a man who has had 1500 televised matches? Is he going to significantly improve the product or is he yet another over exposed guy looking for a payday? Even Mone to some degree, though that's more understandable.
I like AEW and I want it to succeed but remembering back to those early days where it felt so fresh and new compared to now, this isn't what we signed up for. I didn't sign up back then to a few years down the line be watching Sting, Rob Van Dam and Jeff Jarrett matches. And I know Christian is doing great work but he's another 50 year old that has been on TV for a quarter of a century. Claudia. Samoa Joe. The Hardys. Dustin Rhodes. The list goes on.
I was promised a new wave of wrestling and I got the Elite plus 2000s WWE plus 2010 TNA.
That roster needs significantly less ex-WWE people because they're turning everyone into shitters wrestling the pace of 50 year old and they keep signing more.
