the context was with respect to a future offer by another company. for example if WBD offered him a 300% rise in pay for the show and some other company offered him 301%, he'd go with WBD because of their past loyalty in spite of the other company offering him slightly more.

if you were smarter, you'd notice that he's not actually revealed how much he's been offered from this theoretical alternative buyer, which is the pertinent information if wbd were going to figure out what this theoretical penny on the dollar discount tk is prepared to give, and lowball by that amount. as it stands, all they've got is the nebulous idea that whatever is finally agreed on somehow includes a special discount because tk is such a swell and loyal guy.

Yes I'm sure in this reality we are leaving in currently, there are major companies having a bidding war over a company that averages 500k viewers across their 3 weekly shows and can barely get 2000 people to see them live and the owner of this company can choose who he wants. I'm sure this is actual reality and not the one you make up to tell yourself that AEW is successful.
