WWE takes the one girl with infinite mainstream appeal that AEW had in Jade Cargill, make a big show of her signing and immediately presenting her as someone to look out far. They also signed Pillman's son but even with him it looks like they're giving a guy that's not much and giving him a new and bigger chance at unlocking his theoretical potential after he quietly disappeared from AEW.
AEW gets a 49 year-old guy who had a long and successful WWE career and then a hit-and-miss 4-year comeback who's immediately going in to feud with his old tag partner. He didn't even leave on bad terms and give some intrigue about him "shooting" in his first live promo. It's not even Danielson debuting against The Elite/Omega muchless CM Punk's return. I really don't see how they could make this signing mean much, feels like WCW getting more old guys as WWF takes their younger ones
