At this point AEW is no threat to WWE so the correct thing to do when you're "competition" is a billionaire on the TNT network is to send your guys over, like Bret Hart or Edge, and let them get the biggest contracts possible. Then your sign their misused talents away, like Eddie Guerrero or Jade Cargill, and then turn their territory into a defacto developmental and look to sign future talents away, like Rey Mysterio or MJF. Eventually your competition bleeds itself out from huge contracts and the network sees ratings faltering, and WWE (then WWF) sweeps in to buy their catalog. TK is such a mark, he'll be happy to do the photo op with WWE execs when the time comes.
