Even better, he arguably got over in Evolution. He wasn't ready to beat Benoit for the belt but women and kids were screaming for him within 2 years of being on the main roster.

Roman and John wished they were able to work with top names when they were at the start of their rocket push. In Roman's case his push backfired when Dwayne raised his arm and they've split since.

Meanwhile Theory gets to work with all of the current and previous top dogs and is still KWAB.

The "I GOT KIDS" stuff whilst in the team with Rhyno got over, unlike anything Theory has done so far on the main roster.
The only time Theory has been actually popular was when he was in NXT riding on the coattails of Gargano as his adopted son.

Plenty of it is just booking. He was working directly with Vince and alongside him on TV and looked like a made man. Then goes from that and having a character to the Cena match where he kinda got buried, did nothing for months after and has no role now.
