I say this purely as someone who had Jay as one of his favorites in NJPW, a Miz feud would've unironically been a preferable start-up for him that what Tony has (not) done with him up until now, and these retards still mindbreaking themselves over a solid midcard heel that can get his opponents over are quintessential obese marks

His free agency and potential signing was overhyped to all hell and back. He was the only name, and I can't even say a big one, like it at the time so people acted like it was some kind of major catch. As rough of a start as he had in AEW if he had gone to WWE he either would've been in NXT or he wouldn't even be on tv right now. He's become so "underrated" he's overrated. I never found him interesting or all that good. Almost every program he has had always left the other person lower on the card. Whenever he gets the rare good angle, it goes to shit just as quickly because you're forced to watch him wrestle. He's a good "talker" but boring promo.

Same could be said with MJF. They have no range. It's just the same shit. It's like when HHH would cut his soliloquys to open RAW, sure he can talk for 20 minutes but is any of this shit interesting or matter?
