You see, the main problem AEW has by far, is that Tony thinks that whatever position all the talent has in his head is the position they'll have in the heads of the audience.
Without actually telling the stories, Tony expects you to have memorised every chapter. Because he has, and you should too.
But because Tony never shows the stories on TV since he expects you to know everything... nobody knows anything and every match is cold no-angle antidime troglodyte food.
So nothing ever happens, nothing means anything to anyone but the promoter, and nobody can convince the promoter he's wrong because Tony the promoter cannot imagine himself in the audience as if he knows nothing.
