It's all a work to keep the ad revenue inflated.
The ad agencies won't pay for people who aren't watching.
This is part of why the USA network ditched Raw and NXT from their rights contracts. Those are endeavoured for streaming, not because that's easier, but because we're reaching the tipping point where even if you catch only 1% of the streaming audience you're getting more viewers and more ad money than you would on TV.
Also why the E did that deal with Peacock.
IMO we'll be seeing Raw and Smackdown and NXT, even PPVs, through Twitter soon.
Musk does wanna exploit the platform that way and the infrastructure can handle the traffic as evidence by Tucker Carlson's videos (couple milly concurrent viewers).
It's just a matter of payment systems being integrated and TKO and X striking a deal.
