>>11827074>TNA got more chances than AEW I want everyone here to imagine the reaction if TNA
>had their world champion lose the belt in a limo>had a shark cage that couldn't open so the wrestlers just jumped out the sides>held a tribute show where the photo of the guy got knocked over by the bossAEW gets well more rope than TNA ever did. There were unbearable times in the IWC where every little thing they did was jumped on by people.
As for Meltzer, It's clear that he has never had the attachment to TNA/Impact that he had to WWE (the company he grew up on) or AEW (the alleged company that is following his ideology of moves over stories). For Meltzer, TNA represented a half -return to the 'wrasslin' days and thus he's probably tell you that PWG was more important than TNA because he has a very narrow view of what good wrestling is.
Meltzer's entitled to his view, the problem is (as can be seen on the WON awards, is that his fanbase parrot him. They get very VERY upset when you point this out. It's not that they agree with everything he says, but that he has framed the debate about good wrestling so it's only about technical ability and athletic moves.
Wrestling would be healthier if there were a plurality of critical voices with different philosophies on what makes wrestling good.
