This is a fictional medium with far less constraints than wrestling as it's technological and not operating from the basis of a human body's limitations, yet even there, critics don't rate things 11, 12 or 14/10, because they understand the value of contemporary thinking, and can still make arguments putting games from the 90s up against modern ones qualititively.
