Because they keep doubling down on Roman Reigns vs The Rock at WrestleMania, and have zero plan on how to get the belts off Roman, and never had a plan on how to de-unify the belts after Roman beat Brock. USA Network was upset Raw had no World Championship for the roster to compete for so they needed to introduce a new belt.

WWE has always had a reputation for protecting their own interests so I've always been surprised at how much leverage they've handed to Reigns.

They've treated him like a star since the very beginning to the point that he's become a part-timer and holds their programming hostage lol

Roman Reigns is literally the only reason input 0 effort into WWE programming. I’ll have it on for a few minutes or a match and then change the channel. Come back an hour later and repeat. I honestly believe they want Reigns to have an impossible to break title reign to avoid having more guys like CM Punk, that they know would be fine with leaving WWE forever, from holding important records.

Yeah, it's fucking weird. It's not like he earned his spot at all, he's had everything handed to him on a fucking platter. Drew McIntyre was carrying the whole ass company through the pandemic while Roman was sitting at home afraid to catch Covid. Then he comes back once Covid died down, immediately had the belt put on him, and he's been a part timer ever since. That part timer status used to be reserved for vets who carried the company and were on the road 50 weeks a year. Roman was never that guy.

the belt was introduced and handed to seth because he threw a shoot tantrum over cody returning and getting a main event slot and a guaranteed title win TBD
he ran around leaking to every dirtsheet that he was in talks with AEW and planned on leaving until they created the title for him. all of those rumors went away the second it happened

So how many fucking world titles does WWE have now? I don't care what anyone says, you should only have one world title, otherwise none of them matter. I also think it's retarded to have one guy monopolize that one title for years, unless he's ridiculously popular like Hogan, Flair, Austin, etc. which Roman is not. Everyone is sick of him and they're burning both current and potential fans just so Roman can get some kind of record.

Seth is just so boring, idk what happened but hes been going down and down every since his injury. Before the injury he felt like a top guy and someone that could carry the company, and now he feels like a guy thats pretending to be a top guy. Also him complaining about not main eventing mania or not being champ just makes the title feel like a pity prize. Like the only reason they made it and gave it to him is so he could main event night 1 of Mania.

I agree with everything you are saying but there are a couple reasons why roman should be top champ:

1. He is a heel now so when he eventually loses it, most likely at a stadium event, it will create a moment

2. He has the bloodline story that attracts viewers because of his relations and it's cemented in pro wrestling history

3. He was proven to sell merchandise to younger viewers like toys and whatnot

4. He is a big guy with presence that should hold a world title, not some mid card comedy act

In the world of modern pro wrestling in North America there are few people that I could see as world champ. Samoa Joe should have won it, Gunther could be it, drew, Sheamus, Orton comeback, Jay White maybe, Cody as transitional, Brock will always be end boss but no more title reigns >>11832148
