Did NXT get better or did Dynamite get worse?

A bit of both, even though AEW still puts good matches, some of their gimmicks are stale as fuck right now and is a chore to watch (mjf, acclaimed)
NXT is really unique as of late, they found a really nice balance between russo style crash tv backstage segments, workrate matches with extremely talented people and straight up coombait, there's bit of everything for everyone

AEW is chasing WWE's success and thinks they need to be more like them in order to succeed. When in actuality people just think "WWE is better at being WWE so I'll just watch that."
Also it is really clear based on that graph exactly when they started putting prominent main roster acts on the show

Both. By the time black and gold NXT was made live it was already stagnant and HHH couldn't handle a live two hour show with competition so it got worse. Anything would be an improvement but 2.0 set the stage for it to be leagues better. AEW had a golden 2020 that's been in steady decline since.

I don't know. Dynamite used to have really good stuff and really bad stuff. And the bad stuff was so bad that it was entertaining. So it was overall worth watching. Now it's just boring.
I don't even watch WWE outside of Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, before anyone starts in on that shit.
