been hearing talk that WrestleMania 3's real attendance could actually be comfortably 83k, meaning it never lost the attendance record (outside North Korea) in the first place. WM32 is of course a shameful 80k instead of the worked 101k. some people say 3 could realistically go to 85k. some loftier projections even say 87k. 83k seems good to me right now.
it centers around Meltzer's 1994 projection of WM3's 78k being founded on Bresloff accidentally underestimating number of seats in the football capacity of the Silverdome. even Dax is going against Meltzer on this one. nice to be upwind of him for once.
