I hate AEW, but the only fumbling Tony did was not firing Punk after the first incident and instead creating an entire containment show for Punk. But I can't blame the guy for trying desperately to make it work given how big a deal Punk is. But the fumbling was all Punk. The guy is a narcissistic egomaniac, and someone soft like Tony was never gonna get him under control. Punk is a locker room cancer, and only veterans in the locker room who don't take any shit can keep a guy like him in check.
