It is somewhat odd how soon after his death he was - not quite forgotten - but there is very little focus on him. I seem to remember after Eddie died, he had a tribute Raw and SmackDown where almost everyone including the fans were crying. Then even in the following weeks and months he was still talked about regularly. He even had his poster hanging at WM 22 4 months after his death. I think the reason Wyatt didn't get the same reaction is a combination of things as other anons have pointed out in this thread and before

>being a "spooky" character he couldn't have that same connection with the fans
>his popularity had already been waning for years, due to bad booking and questionable creative decisions
>he had been off of tv for a while, and even before that he only had a short run after having been away yet again (or should I say before)
