The well is tapped dry. Either too many shitters in wrestling now or too many people they'd love to have already signed to a company. Even then there's not many of them also willing to move to Japan or travel there constantly, paying Japanese prices to live there on lowcard gaijin salary.

If anything is making them shittier lately it might be the fact that the yen is fucking monopoly money right now compared to pre-COVID. Japanese companies don't pay well to begin with and when you account for taking like a 20-30% hit in value to convert it back to your own money, it's just not worth getting dropped on your head for

Another difference with pre-COVID is AEW. AEW pays incredibly well and signs a lot of people, which means fewer people need to work for poorfag jap companies
