On one hand, it would be pretty stupid for WWE not to want him back. He's a draw, pure and simple. On the other hand, it seems like basically all the top guys hate him. Including Triple H who is high up in management. Not to mention the top on screen talent like Cody, Reigns, AJ, KO, Rollins etc.
Usually WWE will say fuck it and hire people back if there's money to be made. But he is legitimately so toxic and off putting to basically everyone in the business there's no real reason to rock the boat since WWE is doing so well without him. As a fan who doesn't really give a shit about backstage issues, I'd like to see Punk again in the WWE. But I can also completely understand why they wouldn't want him back.
Until proven otherwise though I don't believe any story I hear. For all we know this could be pure bullshit to try and throw people off. We'll see at Survivor Series I guess.
