Roman is like the least-interesting part, desu. Nobody really talks about what happens after or anything. He just happens to have the belt for a while, but people care more about whoever they pick to beat him than anything else.
Roman peaked from when he returned to Mania and then settled back down and has been carried by his opponents. Brock feud was all face-Brock and Heyman. Even the Bloodline stuff, was more Sami making it work and Jey laughing and liking him. I don't mind him being final boss, because they had him stomp the whole roster, but he's not really all that interesting. Now he has to carry the next few programs on his own.
