Look at the top draws of all time and the top drawing shows. Dave hated them. He gave Hogan/Andre at WrestleMania III a negative 4 star rating, but that match had a nuclear hot crowd and was a massive draw. Just one example.
Workrate doesn't draw. Characters draw. Angles draw. Heat draws. Mic work draws. I enjoy a good wrestling match when it looks REAL, not for flips, finisher spam, and repeating the same spots over and over on the same show.
Wrestling is completely out of the public consciousness and only surviving through nostalgia, habitual viewers, and a very small proportion of Meltzer cultists.
It's sad. Dave has ruined pro wrestling.
