I don’t know why it has to be one or the other. NJPW for some reason has the reputation of the workrate promo where no one has any characterization but really everyone on the roster is fairly well developed aside from a few shitters and you see way less flippy midget nonsense than you do in AEW or WWE these days. I can tell the Americans are narratively famished because this guy is freaking out over five characters interacting.
