Up until that Okada-Omega series, no one gave a shit about Meltzer's star ratings, there was the joke about "would have been 5 stars in the Tokyo Dome" because New Japan was the only promotion getting 5 star matches at that point but that was it. There were no absurd and delusional accusations by even marks that Meltzer was somehow influencing the style of wrestling, and the fact that Corgan has stooped this low and sees Meltzer as some kind of boogeyman who is holding back his company from being successful, is fucking pathetic.
