AEW tends to draw storylines out, Jericho deciding on joining the Don Callis family, for example. There are still plenty of opportunities for the heel turn before Full Gear. I actually like the most recent Skye Blue vs Statlander fight, her motivations make sense. Maybe it will be like the 2019 Joker movie, she loses her mind with repeatedly losses/gets screwed each week, she decides to embrace the dark side to get what she wants
