Why would he be a star when he often looks like shit physically, can't talk, does stupid shit constantly like 69 an old man on tv, never has actual feuds with onscreen storylines, never had an exciting segment ever, has no actual character, etc?
The Elite are not even really a big factor in AEW when you think about it, they get thrown belts now and then, drop them to one of their friends, then disappear. Reality is Tony Khan only ever watched the most mainstream shit like WWE and WCW, and Jericho Omega was the first time he watched NJPW. He saw these guys had a movement going and that Cody did All In, so he made them fake EVP's to give the company an anti-WWE image where 'the boys are in charge' except that wasn't the case and he really doesn't give a fuck. Worked well to establish a fanbase though.
