>>11955265I think there are a lot of punk fans there, but a lot of them are also people that had good will toward the new company since its inception then finally realized that it would never get good. I'm definitely one of those fans that you speak about. I watched Punks debut at rampage, then his mjf feud on YouTube, the two times he returned, and the two times he won the title. Nothing was going to get me to sit through an AEW show and nothing about punk on that show really pulled me in because I feel like nothing really matters on AEW tv. In WWE, you could feel like he was fighting against the system, that was the draw, and with all this word of them not wanting him, that would be the draw again. In AEW, the boss was a Punk mark and the title didnt matter.
