>>11956300It was pretty much always on a slow decay after the first couple of episodes. Had a lot of things running against it:
>Late at night>it was usually pre-recorded in front of a tired crowd after dynamite, leading to "less atmosphere">the few live shows they did pissed off a lot of attending fans, since they usually did 3 hours of aew dark recordings, and one hour of rampage. so the crowd had to sit through a bunch of short matches/squashes. tk should have probably recorded several rampages in a row at these tapings instead of a bunch of shitty dark matches, but that leads to having to deal with spoilers for multiple episodes in advance.>booking important matches for rampage quickly became a catch22 - if they booked something important on it, half the audience would miss it, then complain that they hadn't seen something important to an ongoing story. if they didn't book important stuff for rampage then people would complain it wasn't worth watchingEventually TK decided it wasn't worth putting top talent with top matches in front of tired crowds, only to be seen by a fraction of the dynamite audience, and it was like taking someone off life support. Shit quickly crashed to where it is now.
