It is really hard for an NFL Team to lose money because of the shared media rights. Each team gets $325 million a year just from that TV deal, and salary cap is $225 million. Every team should in theory be starting with $100 million in profit to pay coaches and staff and all that other stuff. That is not even counting ticket sales or merchandise money. Plus any playoff game a team plays is extra profit.

I mean if anybody could do it, it is the Faguars, but I dont even know if the Khans could be inept enough pull that one off kek

you're right about pretty much all of your post, but the NFL keeps everything from all playoff-related revenues except for stadium parking fees and concessions. It's actually barely more profitable for teams to make the playoffs than it is to miss them. Some teams have even lost money when they made the playoffs. I recommend reading Brian Tuohy's book The Fix is Still In for details on that particular model.

and the reason that some teams lose money by making the playoffs is because they never get a playoff home game. there have been a few NFL teams that have played in two, three or even four playoff games as a wild card qualifier. Teams have to pay all those travel expenses. I think players get bonuses for playoff wins, but those don't go to the teams they play for.

Before this impending strike, it was widely expected that the new car market would see a massive crash in prices due to an inventory glut.
