>>11967474It had its ups and downs but the company didn't hit it's stride until the pandemic. But somehow it was more fun than what we've got now. I feel like Cornette was right about AEW going to shit after 4 years. When AEW first started I was a lapsed fan who never watched anything outside of main roster WWE. So of course all the 5 star matches and flippy shit kinda blew me away. But I've seen so many of them now that I don't get worked by them. Wrestling needs more then "great matches" to appeal to normies.
