Meltzer used to be accused of being biased for Angle, like he was for others with amateur or MMA backgrounds. Meltzer's star ratings (which were never meant to be taken as serious as they are now by some) today seem at a scale 1/2 to a full star above in the past. Adjust accordingly if you are that bothered by past ratings.

Every match he had with benoit is an all time classic, the were two of the best of all time on their own plus incredible chemestry with eachother, on top of the ones already mentioned ITT the ultimate submission one and the 2 out of 3 falls are also amazing, I'd agree the cage match on raw might be their best and pure sawdust kino

I know we just shouldn't care about what that retard thinks at all but since his ratings are such a talking point here the proper way to scale them is multilply the old ratings by 7/5 since he broke his scale and is now rating them out of 7, for exemple a 4.75/5 in 2003 would be a 6.65/7 today
