Single man here. Homemade pizza really isn't all that hard.
0. Make some sourdough starter. It's a mason jar of full sourdoughy potential that sits in your fridge.
1. Take some of the starter, put it in a bowl. Put some flour and water into the starter jar to make more starter.
2. Add flour, yeast, sugar, salt, garlic & onion powder, olive oil.
3. Mix into a dough. Too wet? More flour. Too dry? More water.
4. Cover the dough with olive oil and let it rise somewhere warm. If it's fucking cold where you live, heat your oven up a tiny bit, turn it off, then set the dough inside.
5. Go watch Tenryu vs. Tsuruta.
6. Cover a pizza pan with a bit of olive oil. Spread the dough over the pan.
7. Preheat the oven with the dough inside. Take it out part way through, then add the sauce, cheese, toppings. Put it back in the oven.
8. Let it cook until it's done.
9. Enjoy 2 inch thick pizza. About 1 hours work for 3+ meals of cheese and bread goodness.
