Hell yeah I want Punk back in the WWE. Not as a wrestler, but as a coach for NXT. Everyone across the board could use his help on delivering a great promo.
This is actually what AEW should've always done. Pay Punk big time money to stay on as an agent producer, and coach the current crop of shitters how to use a mic. But that's probably why the Elite wanted him gone so badly as it would've raised eyes to see Punk to be training those guy's.

He failed in the eyes of WWE, yes. He showed himself to clearly still be a schizo nitwit but FOX actually loved him coming on and shooting and creating a buzz as I recall, they'd post clips of him all the time and I do think ratings somewhat improved when he was on. So from a network perspective they got what they wanted.
