Is it a good match? Unquestionably. Is it inarguably on par with any other? Not for me, I have never been a fan of Kenny’s selling and as a result I think it falls just short of a 10/10. Not saying you’re wrong for thinking it’s the best or among the best but you can’t really make a statement that I (or anyone) can’t say it’s not among the best. Cherish it in your own way.
Yes, vs Shibata was the first to come to mind. Many of the Tanahashi matches would rank higher in my opinion, because the matches and their feud played out with so many wonderful twists and turns over years. It was a wild ride. The Omega series didn’t really surprise me, it played out more or less how I figured it would.
