for a while in 2022 when everything else was starting to go down for AEW with Brawl Out etc, their women's division was slowly getting momentum with Toni and Athena coming in, Shida back on TV and Jamie getting over but they immediately decided to change course and build the division around Paige, who has X-Pac heat with AEW fans
