What they had actually posted was Danielson vs Starks compared to a Punk vs Starks rematch. The first Punk vs Starks blew Danielson's out the water.
But who cares. It's a dead horse. I do not see Punk returning in any scenario. The Elite are still there. Perry is still there, the sentiment that Punk is the cause for AEW's woes is still there. Plus honestly, Punk is happier being as far away from AEW as possible. Moreso given their immediate downturn upon his exit. While it may be great in the short-term for AEW, there's zero upside for Punk returning.
