>>12023352I don't think they're mad about TNA.
I think they're more worried about the NWA.
Powerrr was really good, and their shows are increasing their draw every week after the hard reset a few years ago.
When Powerrr debuts on TV, even though it's just CW, that trend will accelerate.
By this time next year, they will outdraw AEW in the ratings. It's inevitable.
But will they outdraw Rampage and nothing more? Or will they outdraw Dynoshite? Time will tell.
The AEW fans don't want it to tell.
They wanna stay in their illusion, on the hypetrain as I explained last night. And that's okay, nothing wrong with making that choice.
Thing is though, Tony Khan is paying for a shitload of veterans to sit in catering, under the pretense of them being there for advice and tutorship. He's doing it all by himself.
Billy Corgan has Tom Pritchard, Austin Idol, Trevor Murdoch and many more veterans of the business who are actively involved in the promotion in some way.
Even fucking Jim Cornette had hope for this 4 years ago. Jim probably still would if it weren't for Dave Lagana, and I don't know what he's doing these days.
