This is no longer the 1980's when the pushed guy was ultra dimes like Hogan or Savage and people were clamoring to see them in action. Now the pushed guy is typically some mediocre vanilla midget that people are lukewarm towards at best. Or someone like Bryan Danielson, a good wrestler who's been so overexposed and devalued that there isn't much demand to see him despite the fact that he's talented. "Pushed guy wrestles cold match with obvious outcome" is booking that does not fucking work in 2023 and it's one of the major reasons why AEW is in the mud right now.

You're a retard if you think people would rather sit on their hands and watch a match where the outcome is obvious. Something that's made even worse when Tony announces the match days in advance. Of course you will probably be able to figure out who's winning a match on WWE, but half the time the matches aren't even announced until the show is happening. Also, it's WWE, it may not be as sporadic now that Vince is gone, but there was a time where the bigger matches weren't easy to predict because there was always that small chance that WWE would be retarded enough to go in the complete opposite direction of a winner just because it would make everyone mad. AEW matches are ice cold and obvious, and it's even more obvious when someone is wrestling for a championship in their home town.
