For standing suplexs, you jump if the guy does them without much lifting, but some guys do all the lifting, like Steiners and Taz. If you jump when they suplex, you will over-rotate and sawdust yourself. This is what happened when Taz debuted in WWE, the guy jumped full force and landed on his neck so they blamed Taz and buried his planned push.
