It's funny to think that if Drainmaker is a real AEW fan (and not just Tony's burner) then his constant praise is actively making AEW worse. Tony will use comments like his to reinforce the idea that he's doing a good job and won't change anything. It's why he had a meltdown when they lost to NXT, because he genuinely believed comments saying he would win
