All the other stars from when Okada rose to the top are old and broken down. The only Japanese fed producing competent young talent right now is Dragon Gate and nobody gives a shit about that.
Konosuke Takeshita was actually the one guy under 30 with a look that could possibly appeal to people outside of Japan and they signed him and ruined him within a year.
