Nothing new ... earlier this year they'd sold less than a 1,000 tickets for Resurgence before they announced Mercedes. Then that show made it to 3,000. The only way they sell anything is if she's on the card.

The show in Texas in November is just as bad and that's in the arena AEW runs.

At least they're booking the correct venue size. Small, compact and full is much better than a large arena that's spread out and only got half the seats filled. Will probably sound better.

In sports, you dont need to see a lot. Its enough to see who has the ball and who doesnt. Meanwhile in wrestling, you want to see things up close so you can see all the movement and theatrics.
Can someone redpill me on the stadium experience for wrestling events?

While I think you're right about the view, if you have a good seat the stadium experience is unmatched. Being a part of thousands of people feeding energy an cheering or booing is thrilling. When you go to one of those smaller shows its cool to see the wrestling up close and maybe even have a good chance of being part of it. You always have the thought in the back of your head this is a dying show for lame 40 year old smarks. It's sad, while going to a Wrestlemania show you know you're a part of history even if the show may not good or the view, you are a part of history.
