Is the lesson to be learned from this week that AEW needs to start a performance center? People would simply rather watch young, attractive, credible athletes with simple, effective gimmicks.

Checked and correct. AEW needs WWE to develop wrestlers and create stars for them to try and sign later , or else it’s just PWG with a tv deal.

Lesson is that AEW is still, and I can't believe I wrote this same shit a year ago, sitting on a dimeless bloated roster that nobody will miss half of tomorrow if they got fired today even from their suppposed draws, nothing in their shows production ever works smoothly and their "top talent" would rather sudoku themselves and show than fucking sit down and tell the other shitter drawing checks from the owners pockets that their shit stinks and here's how you improve it, let alone listen to such talk.

This. The talent is objectively better, unless you're really gonna go to bat for the likes of Marko Stunt. It's just that AEW's been around for years now, and everyone realizes it's full of shitty angles with even shittier payoffs.
