Is there a single reason for a young wrestler to sign with AEW over NXT? NXT has a training center,helps with gimmicks and everyone gets screentime. AEW doesnt do any of these things. NXT also beats Dynamite in viewership.

The reason so many wrestlers live in Florida is because there is no income tax and the cost of living is pretty low. It is actually cheaper to live in Florida than a lot of other places in America. Doesn't hurt that there are so many promotions big and small in Florida so even if you wash in NXT you can still find work, get a clue, and then try out again.

Most wrestlers I know already live with roommates/parents and travel wherever they can get work. NXT gives you a steady paycheck and reliable roommates you work with. It's a win-win for most wrestlers unless Tony is offering you 100k per year to job a couple dozen times for whoever he overpaid even more.

Tony is a money mark so he pays more. But NXT will give a young wrestler better booking and storylines with the promise of maybe making it to Wrestlemania some day. In other words, you go to AEW if you just want money but you go to WWE if you want the opportunity to be somebody.
