If you're gonna market her as nu-Asuka, you should at least book her the same way. Give her big matches with people you know can work. Put the belt on her and give her high profile feuds. Curtain jerking with a random shindie woman, while Britt Baker headlines the show killed any momentum she could've had. Kairi basically became everything Shida should've been.

She was never that great in the ring. But she's a joshi wrestler so a lot of people just aggressively assumed she was.

She's not around half the time. Visa issues. Covid. Wrestling for Wave. Who knows. It's really hard to book someone who isn't around.

She's not good enough at English to do live back and forth segments. And AEW isn't really a company that excels at skits/promos/interviews.
