While I'll agree that they don't need him, it depends on how much they want to make AEW look bad. If they bring him in for a few dates and everything goes well, it completely embarrasses AEW and Tony. It would be another example of a guy going from AEW to WWE and thriving. Plus now Punk is fueled by spite and is more likely to want to show up AEW

Depends. Him being booked for good money from here on depends on him drawing measurable money. Hyping up Survivor Series allows him to claim he was part of the gate and viewership.
Also, from WWE's perspective, the fans in Chicago are buying tickets like crazy and WWE needs something to not let them down.

No. He ain't coming back unless he's gonna be The Guy. Rock or Cody are facing Roman at mania. Seth ain't gonna work with him. So you take the title off Seth and make him pissed.
