Ishii, Tana, Suzuki, Kojima and others they've sent over and have had piss poor performances and are just over the hill in general. Their matches are meaningless. It's all 'dream match' bullshit that underdelivers most of the time. Sabre and Danielson was a pretty great match, but the buildup to it was nonexistent. Okada doesn't feel like a big deal. Ospreay's presentation has been the best and that's faint praise (he'll sign with AEW anyway so it's not like it matters for New Japan).
Why would book a bunch of random wrestlers to run out to the ring once or twice, book them in a match with your stars with no logic or build and expect it to pop a rating?
