He had already had god-tier fights at heavyweight and he proved himself at that weight class multiple times. He never fought prime Tyson but he beat prime Bowe who I think was a better fighter in his prime, anyway.
Usyk, though, has not put on the mass that Holyfield put on. I agree with you mostly, Fury should be able to win easily because he's got a lot of technical skill and ultimately, Usyk is just a great technician.
Fury is lucky Usyk isn't a spartan like Holyfield, who would go toe-to-toe with a bigger guy like Bowe and do even trades
