>>12085182I'd say it was a 3.5 star match which, in a sane world, should mean a very good match.
They had trouble gelling at first. It seemed they were going to be doomed to be a pair of guys who couldn't work together well but as the match progressed, the work started smoothing out.
But again, as they got into the high-impact phase of the match, there was a bit of sloppiness. MJF nearly killed Omega with his powerbomb shoulderbreaker spot (Omega went too low, the move basically turned into a Tiger Driver 91) and for a second, I thought Kenny might've been concussed. If so, he really is incredible because he worked the rest of the match really well despite the bad bump.
Both of them nearly smashed their heads into the edge of the apron when they did their dives.
All in all, it was a memorable confrontation and hopefully the first of many but the botchiness and initial awkwardness drops the match down for me. I expect their next matches will be better.
