LA Knight re-signed right before his big push btw, they renegotiated his contract and gave him more money for more years to make sure they were safe investing in him. Not really, but he's always spoken highly of WWE and has very much played down the idea of being in AEW long term, keeps mentioning his injuries and wanting to retire because of his daughter. Maybe playing on family issues is the way to get TK to let you out, that's what Regal did.

Nah Tony said at I think the last presser that Bryan's his second in command and that he'd take over operations if he got iced tomorrow. That said it's probably more accurate to call it Tony headcanon than anything, since he thinks everyone's his friend, there's no telling if Bryan actually has any interest in doing that.

AJ is 46, has slowed down in the ring, has often said he wants to retire early so he doesn't tarnish his legacy, and has said before that he's on his last contract. He was also trying to learn backstage stuff not long after he got into WWE so he'd have a position to move into once he was done.

He's retiring, not jumping ship.

Bryan made sure not to burn his bridges and Vince was willing to let him be part time and work with NJPW to keep him. Bryan just wanted to do something different for a bit. I can see him "retiring" and then coming back to WWE for a small final run in 2025 culminating in his going into the Hall of Fame in 2026 and retiring for real after Wrestlemania since 2026 would be his 25th anniversary.

Alexa has one hell of a natural comeback angle in WWE, cancer recovery, pregnancy, and Bray death she'll be the most sympathetic babyface in history.
Also she was finally getting outside of wrestling gigs. Bliss is not leaving to slum it in AEW or TNA.
