In that book, he dedicated a small part of a chapter to describing the lies, inconsistencies and false information in Meltzers "History of World Class" article. He got years wrong, he got events wrong, and he got situations wrong.
Outside of Fritz Von Erich, Gary Hart is basically Mr World Class. Meltzer didn't even call him to verify information like any journalist would, he just printed the words of a temporary assistant booker outright. It would be like writing a history of WWF told to you by Brian Gerwitz and not even calling Pat Patterson, Bruce Prichard, or Kevin Dunn to verify info.
Hart had always been very kind to Meltzer even though he would not be one of his sources, in an era where people despised him, but he always said he's not a real journalist and I think the WCCW article proved it for him.
