Born as Ryan Allen Reeves, Ryback attained popularity across the globe for his run with WWE. A professional wrestler, Ryback spent over 12 years with the Stamford-based promotion before parting ways with it. However, being young at heart and bones, what led him to quit the professional wrestling industry?

Ever since Ryback made his WWE debut, fans have had all eyes on the well-built man. With his strength and personality, it seemed like a cakewalk for him to rise as the champion. However, things were not the same from within. Before he could leave an unforgettable impact on the fans, he was released from the company in 2016.

“I told them f**k you, take me off TV and I left. I walked out of St. Louis and I went home,” the former WWE star told Chris Van Vliet. Up until August 8, 2016, he disappeared from the screenings and got his ear and nose fixed. The expense for the same was taken by the company as per their contract.

However, the decision to take him off the company was not in the hands of WWE. He himself chose to part ways with the company where he had worked for almost 12 years. With this being said, WWE had no choice but to let him go. On August 5, 2016, Ryback announced his exit from the Stamford-based promotion and three days later, WWE confirmed the same.
